Happy Balls began with a simple thought: if taking, competing and always wanting more can spread, why could giving not spread too?
Much of everyday life consists of transactions. We pay, sell, collect and exchange. With Happy Balls, we make room for a moment that asks for none of that.

Not because we need something from you, but because giving can be a purpose in itself.
Love and care at the heart
Alongside dates, almonds and coconut, we call love and care our basic ingredients. They describe how we want to make and give: with attention to the ball and the person receiving it.
A small gesture can bring people together. An unexpected gift might bring a smile, even for a moment. That is where Happy Balls begins.
Doing something for someone else
We take inspiration from the idea of service, also known as seva. You do not have to share any particular belief. It starts with doing something for someone else without expecting anything in return.
That could be a Happy Ball. Or time, help or a kind word. Everyone can find their own way.

In various Indian spiritual traditions, 108 is a symbolic number used in practices including meditation and mantra recitation.
